And we all need to take good care of it. The flooring industry also has a role to play and improvements to make in this regard. Because we like to lend a hand, we are also taking a significant number of steps within our company to operate as sustainably as possible. How? We'd be happy to explain that to you on this page. Our sustainability labels

To help you navigate the sustainable or less sustainable aspects of flooring, we have created our own sustainability labels, which you can find on each floor's product page.

European production

These floors are produced in a factory within the European Union. That saves a lot of transport!

Sustainable choice

A sustainable choice because these floors are, for example, produced from recycled material.

Recycling Program

Floors with this icon can be registered for a recycling program.

Sustainable transport

These floors are supplied by brands that have made (part of) their vehicle fleet sustainable.

Sustainable storage

These floors are stored in a warehouse that has been made sustainable, for example by using solar panels.

At Solza, we plant a fixed number of trees annually in partnership with Trees For All.

Fewer kilometres, less CO2

At Solza, we do everything we can to minimise the number of kilometres driven for/by us and/or our suppliers.

How exactly?

We do not have a (large) own warehouse, but instead make smart use of our suppliers' warehouses, thereby reducing energy consumption and unnecessary transport movements.
We have agreements with each supplier and partner regarding deliveries so that these can be combined as much as possible.
We support our suppliers and partners in greening their vehicle fleet.
