Price of PVC floor per m2
Of course, the price per square meter (m2) of a floor has a huge influence on the total cost of a PVC floor. Are you going for a beautiful herringbone PVC floor or do you prefer a sleek tile click PVC floor? Almost every type of floor has its own price per m2. When determining the number of square meters you need for your project, it is necessary to take into account a piece of cutting loss. Various brands of PVC flooring
In addition to the type of floor, the brand of the PVC floor also influences the price. Each brand uses their own recommended retail prices and so brands are created that are suitable for the low segment and brands that are suitable for the high segment. Lay the PVC floor yourself or have it installed?
In addition to the type of floor you choose for your project, it is also necessary to determine whether you are able and willing to lay the floor yourself. Is this not the case? Then you must also include the costs for the laying service of our professionals in the calculation for the costs. The various options within the laying service are generally calculated per m2 or per m1.
Ensure a stable and even surface
Whether you choose a click PVC or paste PVC floor, the surface is equally important for all types of floors. We would like to tell you more about which elements play a role in determining which items you need for this and what costs are involved.
Costs of substrate adhesive PVC floor
When we look at a slab PVC floor, it is necessary that there is a nice even surface without many deviations. If this were the case, the floor would never look as beautiful as you would like. In addition, this often also voids the warranty on such floors. So, in most cases, it is necessary to level the substrate. For leveling the substrate, we generally recommend Thomsit OS or Thomsit DX. In addition to the costs for the egaline, you also need to purchase glue to glue the PVC floorboards to the substrate. For this we often recommend Thomsit K188 E. With this PVC glue you can glue an average of 40 to 60 m2.
Costs surface click PVC floor
For a click PVC floor it is not (always) necessary to level the surface, as is the case with slab PVC floors. However, this depends on the deviations that the substrate contains. Is there for example 8mm height gradient over a distance of 1.5m1? Then we advise you to level the surface. However, if this is not the case, a subfloor suitable for the click PVC floor is sufficient. Which subfloor is necessary for this differs per floor. But in general, we advise you to choose a subfloor that offers sufficient compressive strength for the floor. In addition, you could take into account aspects such as subfloors that are suitable for underfloor heating or subfloors that are suitable for apartments.
